Union Chinese, leveraging years of experience in liquor marketing and promotion, created its sorghum liquor brand, “Baba Tunnel.” Since its launch in Taiwan on August 8, 1999, the brand has been on the market for 24 years. It is specially aged in an environment with optimal temperature and humidity, allowing natural maturation over time. The fully matured aged base liquors of different years and characteristics are crafted into unique formulas by the head brewmaster, tailored to the distinct features and positioning of each product series. Thus, while each product offers a unique taste and flavor profile, the consistent brand style is “well-aged, cellar-stored fine liquor,” embodying the concept of “Master Reserve” – both a prized creation of the head brewmaster and a choice selection for sorghum liquor connoisseurs.
Baba Tunnel carefully selects various partners to produce cellar-stored sorghum liquors with distinctive characteristics.
The “Matsu Light Fragrance” sorghum liquor, aged under the unique climatic conditions of the Matsu outer islands and stored in appropriately humid and warm tunnels, offers a robust yet smooth taste.
The “Taiwan Light Fragrance” sorghum liquor is brewed using solid-state fermentation with pure grains and long-term low-temperature fermentation, then aged in the ideal natural surroundings of Yunlin, resulting in a liquor that is rich in aroma, full-bodied, and mellow.
The Baba Tunnel series by Union Chinese features a range of products with distinct levels, packaging, and label colors, all maintaining clear brand identification and a cohesive design aesthetic. Each label indicates the collaborative distillery and product-related information.
